Following Prime Minister Edi Rama's call for a reform of the management structures at the local level, the administrators of the administrative units and the deputy mayors of the municipalities of Elbasan and Librazhd have resigned.

Sources indicate that the resignations were submitted this Monday, following a process initiated after the Prime Minister's statement, which called for the removal of all local leaders who have failed to deliver the expected results in serving citizens.

We recall that during a meeting with municipal heads and SP leaders, Rama emphasized the need for a new approach to local administration, demanding the immediate removal of those who, according to him, have become "obstacles to change."
