The Prime Minister Edi Rama was this afternoon together with the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj in Zall Herr for the inauguration of some new houses in the framework of the reconstruction.
The latter, during his speech, also spoke about the latest "rumors" initiated by the action against illegal constructions that there is a clash between him and the head of the Government on the eve of the local elections to be held next year.
In this regard, Veliaj said today that such words are spread by those who have no job and who are too tired.
"There are many of those "tired" people, people who have their hope that the mayor and the prime minister will enter into a conflict and give them power, to people who actually had power, who had in their hands Tirana, that they had Zall-Herri in their hands, I don't even know how many times they have to pray and how many calluses they must have on their knees to pray that one day me and the prime minister will not get along, the chances are zero expectations for that to happen. To all those who pray that we have a great conflict, I want to tell you this.
The municipality of Tirana and the government are discussing how to go from a situation where we had one in 10 illegal constructions to the situation we have today, one in 10 thousand illegal constructions, how to address the few cases we have.
Who wishes and who thinks that in this effort we have to make Tirana a lady and to make Albania modern, we will have conflicts, anger and division should be forgotten. The probability is zero to none," said Veliaj.
