Next week, the 'screening' process will start within the negotiation process and a team from Brussels will land in Tirana.
The "screening" process, which begins now under the monitoring of the European Commission, is a deep observation of all areas.
It shows what needs to be completed in order to open and close the group-chapters of negotiations in specific areas, which will help the Albanian authorities to determine the roadmap to complete them.
During the "screening", the EC also highlights key anti-corruption priority reforms and examines the administrative capacity. Group chapters are opened and closed unanimously by the 27 member countries.
Meanwhile, sources from the EC also inform that some of the issues that will be discussed are those about the 'golden passports', a government project, as well as the 'fiscal and criminal amnesty.
The European Commission does not agree on the first project while the amnesty is being discussed by foreign experts and the Ministry of Justice and Finance.
