7 agreements expected to be signed today between Albania and North Macedonia

Today, the meeting between the governments of the two countries, Albania and North Macedonia, is being held in Skopje.

At today's meeting, it is expected that 7 agreements will be signed for facilitation between the two countries in the fields of education, health, tourism, trade and security, where the construction of a joint task force in the field of security is also foreseen.

Agreements to be signed

1. Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on the creation of joint task forces in the field of security

2. Protocol between the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of North Macedonia for the implementation of joint border control at the joint border crossing point Qafë-thane/Kjafasan.

3. The program for cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia in the field of education and science for the period 2022-2025.

4. Memorandum of understanding between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia in the field of digital transformation

5. Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Republic of North Macedonia for cooperation in the field of social policies and child protection.

6. Memorandum of cooperation for mutual recognition to facilitate the activities of tourist operators

7. Memorandum of cooperation for trade exchanges
