The situation has escalated on Durrës Street, where protesters have used slingshots against police officers.

The blue uniforms have called on citizens to protest peacefully, warning that otherwise they will intervene.

The police are on standby, with two water cannons parked near the Ministry of Education.

The incident follows a protest attended by students and DP supporters, who also clashed.
