The student protest in Tirana has been accompanied by moments of tension.
Some of the protesters threw stones and hard objects at police officers after burning trash bins near the Ministry of Education.
Protesters have also launched Molotov cocktail attacks on the Ministry of Education, where some of them ended up under the water tanker, causing an explosion and flames.
In response, the police used pressurized water to disperse the crowd.
Earlier, the protest was also accompanied by objections to the presence of Democratic Party representatives.
As DP MPs and supporters joined the rally, some students reacted with calls against this political force.
"Down with communism!" and "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison!" were some of the slogans heard during the protest, through which young people expressed their opposition to both main political forces.
Meanwhile, some young people lit pink trash cans and smoke bombs, while chants of "Albania wants revolution!" could be heard in the background.
This Saturday's protest is the 19th by students, who are demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The rally began at 12:00 in front of the Ministry of Education, while the Democratic Party has called for a national mobilization in support of the students.
