Durrës police today detained Feta Mataj, the husband of the former director of the Albanian Post Office Durrës Branch, Eliabeta Mataj.

Feta Mataj, who was recently appointed to the position of deputy director of the municipal cleaning and greening enterprise in the Municipality of Durres, has been arrested for economic crime.

The news is confirmed by Top Channel correspondent Vali Qyrfyçi. Further details are expected later.

A day earlier, police also investigated his son after he hit a police officer.
