The appeal of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime has rejected Igli Tare's request to lift the seizure measure against a villa in Palasa.

The GJKKO appeal has left in force the seizure of the property, which has become part of the Albanian authorities' investigations into the former footballer.

Tare is suspected of being involved in a scheme related to the concealment of assets, while the villa in Palasa has been seized as part of money laundering investigations.

It is suspected that the villa in question belongs to Belinda Balluku.
