Edi Rama leaves Parliament after the vote on Territorial Reform

Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the approval in Parliament of the new territorial reform, which was accompanied by debates even within the Socialist Party.

 In a post on social media, Rama described the vote as another modernizing impetus for Albania, while also conveying a message to those who, according to him, had miscalculated the Socialists' stance. "They should never settle scores with the Socialist Party without a hanxhi," Rama wrote.

 "Beyond all the internal debates, external speculations and the vicissitudes of a time confused by all sorts of dirty hands, some visible and some invisible but not undiscovered now, last night's vote in the Assembly gave Albania another modernizing impetus. And on the other hand, it showed once again to all those who needed it, that they should never make "accounts without a tavern" with the Socialist Party," Rama wrote.
