"Super Earth" discovered, 28 light years away from the solar system

A Super Earth is discovered 28 light years away from the solar system.

Called Gliese 48b, it orbits within the so-called optimistic Habitable Zone.

There is no confirmation yet of the presence of an atmosphere capable of retaining heat, but astrophysicists say that the planet's position suggests that theoretically all the conditions are in place for liquid water on its surface.

It has a mass estimated to be eight times that of Earth and is located at a distance from its parent star, which reinforces the possibility of water on it.

Another interesting fact that helps expand human knowledge is that this planetary system orbits a cold star, called a red dwarf, and is known for its very intense magnetic activity.

For this reason, the surface may take on characteristics similar to the gravitational signals of a planet, but this time the confirmation was achieved after 15 years of observations and calculations with data from many space telescopes, confronting every parameter.
