VIDEO/ UFO? What was the mysterious object that shot down the American plane?

A video released Friday as part of the Pentagon's UFO dossier shows the moment a US fighter jet shot down a mysterious object flying over Lake Huron in Michigan, writes A2CNN.

Infrared footage captured the moment the F-16 jet focused on the unidentified object after it appeared over the lake in February 2023.

The aircraft, which appeared to be shaped like a diamond, was quickly struck by what the Department of Defense described as a “weapons system.” The unidentified object then suddenly exploded as metal fragments were seen flying into the air.

The new footage was among 222 declassified files that were made public on the War Department's official website on Friday.

More than 50 previously classified videos were released in this latest package, including various confrontations with military aircraft.
