Comedian Osman Azemi has been the headline of the media in recent days, as during a television interview he stated that Albanians are jealous of Kosovo.

However, the actor recently apologized for the way he expressed himself.

"Yes, they have to be very careful about what I'm talking about because the damage is done. My statements are misinterpreted. My goal was to talk about sports, it is understood that sports excites us. During the interview, it is also a mistake that I am behind some kind of satire. I have fun with satire, a bit of humor, but it took extraordinary proportions, which I feel bad about," said Azemi.

Azemi further added that he would not like Albanians to see Albanians divided, regardless of where they live.

 "I didn't have fun without Albanians from Kosovo or Albania, North Macedonia, Montenegro and I was divided among myself. I honestly feel bad for the citizens in Albania, whether they are left or right and in the government or opposition, for my friends and family that I have put in a rather embarrassing situation. I also apologize to my colleagues if they felt embarrassed, but I have said it now, the damage is done", added the actor.
