Apple has today introduced the new smartphone model, the iPhone 16.

While the new phone looks almost identical to the iPhone 15, it comes in a few new colors as well as a vertical dual-camera setup, which hasn't been seen since the iPhone 12.

The most significant changes are on the inside of the phone, such as the 3nm A18 chip that's 30 percent faster than the iPhone 15's processor, a new button that debuted on last year's Pro models, and a new button of the physical camera control below the power button.

The iPhone 16 will be the first Apple phone to use Apple Intelligence (beta) after an update coming in October. The company first announced the AI software at WWDC, where it was limited to only the iPhone 15 Pro-level models.

Once again, the standard iPhone will come with a 6.1-inch screen, while the larger iPhone 16 Plus will have a 6.7-inch screen, the same sizes as the iPhone 15 generation. But the screens for the iPhone 16 pair could reach 2,000 nits maximum brightness and with a dimming of 1 nit.
