Representing Pakistan in Miss Universe, Citizens: Our Country's Biggest

Meanwhile, the Middle East is "on fire" because of the war between Israel and Hamas, in Pakistan they are "boiling" for the Miss Universe candidate who will represent the country.

The anger is evident when Senator Mustafa Ahmed of the Jamaat-e-Islami party called Erin Robin's representative for the Miss Universe 2023 pageant "the biggest shame of the country".

In fact, the acting Prime Minister of the country, Anar ul Haq Kakar, has ordered an investigation into the incident, while the debate on this matter has caused a stir among the men of the country.

Erin Robin is a 24-year-old Christian from Karachi who is determined to represent deeply conservative Pakistan in the Miss Universe beauty pageant.

Robin was named Miss Pakistan among the 5 finalists in the respective pageant held in the Maldives by the Bahrain-based Yugen Group, which also holds the rights to the Miss Bahrain and Miss Egypt pageants.

While the Miss Universe pageant will be held in El Salvador in November, Robin reacted to the British network: “ It's really great that I'm going to represent Pakistan, I just don't understand why it's so bad. I think it all depends on the fact that I will parade in a bathing suit in a room full of men ."

Critics of her candidacy, however, insist she will represent a country that does not want to be represented, especially since beauty pageants are rare in Muslim-majority Pakistan. It should be noted that in the 72 years of the Miss Universe pageant, Pakistan has never received a nomination.
