Kosovo will hold the Song Festival for the first time.

The director of the Song Festival, Adi Krasta, said in a press conference that the Song Festival will not have a representative at Eurosong, but will come as a party.

Krasta also affirmed that they have received positive support for the organization from "Euro Song" and the European Broadcasting Union.

"We have insisted that the first Song Festival be held in the middle of Pristina, in the capital, so that it will be a big celebration as it will be. The first festival is not necessarily related to the race even though the race is a mechanism used to make it more interesting from the point of view of human competition", said Krasta.

He valued this Festival as the most important event of his career, as he added that the nights of the festival will be broadcast on Radio Television of Kosovo, Radio Television of Albania and Radio Television of North Macedonia.

"The director of 'Euro Song' and the director of EBU in an exchange we had were extremely happy that Kosovo will have its own song festival. As one of them said, a city is more beautiful when it has a Song Festival", said Krasta.

The presenter of one of the nights of the Festival, the singer Anjeza Shahini, in a direct connection from London, said that this is an important moment for Albanian music.

"I feel honored to participate even a little in this historic Festival, which will be not only very important for the Albanian music of Kosovo and Albania, but also for the public that I wish to make it part of the calendar every October and enjoy it as much as possible a lot with art and music", said Anjeza Shahini.

Krasta wishes that this organization will last for many years and that its destination is a celebration for the cultural life of Kosovo every October.

"I want to believe that the Festival will last. The festival belongs to the cultural life of Kosovo, so that every end of October is a joy for the city", he said.

The artistic director of the Song Festival, who is in charge of every musical and artistic detail of the organization, Florent Boshnjaku, said that an 'artistic army' worked for this celebration.

"The very word Festival is a celebration, we mentioned it from the first moment when I joined. It is really a big undertaking that they have worked on", said the Bosnian.

Through this Festival, the artistic director expressed that once again the urgent message for the creation of a concert hall in Pristina is given.

"We have worked hard enough to bring quality work, there is a great team behind the Festival. Everyone's expectation may be high or not, but the very fact that we are starting it in a hall that has been burning for many years, I think this is an alarm that Pristina needs a hall for such events. gave me. I hope that this Festival will also be an initiative for the Prishtina concert hall", said Florent Boshnjaku.

The three live nights of the Song Festival at RTK will take place on October 26, 27 and 28.
