The publication date of Prince Harry's long-awaited autobiography, which is expected to be the most "explosive" book of the decade, has been confirmed.

According to the New York Times, the 38-year-old Duke of Sussex's book will be released on January 10, 2023. The publication will come roughly 18 months after Penguin Random House announced its partnership with the former prince in July 2021.

Harry's autobiography is part of a larger project by the prince and Meghan Markle with Penguin Random House. Since leaving the royal family, the two dukes have begun to build their own brand as media moguls.

Beyond the book deal, which is said to be at least $20 million, the pair have actually signed equally lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify.

The book's publication date has reportedly been moved from late this year to early next year due to the death of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8.

In fact, rumor has it that Prince Harry desperately wanted to rewrite part of the book in the wake of his beloved grandmother's death.

What will Harry's autobiography be about?

The book will reportedly cover the entire life of the prince, from Harry's childhood under the eyes of the paparazzi to his military duty in Afghanistan, to his marriage to Meghan Markle and the birth of his two children: Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1 years old.
Experts have called Prince Harry's memories "a ticking time bomb".

The autobiography has been the subject of intense speculation in the publishing world and among fans of the royal family. The British tabloids have often discussed how honest Harry will be in revealing the reasons for his separation from the family and how much damage he will be willing to cause to the establishment of the monarchy.

The autobiographical book will be published at a delicate time for the British crown and public, which is still adjusting to King Charles III and, at the same time, economic and political instability.

The book itself puts Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in an even more difficult situation. Some revelations could damage the monarchy and their relationship with the royal family.

But in an earlier statement about the autobiography, Prince Harry said: "I am writing this book not as the prince I was born, but as the man I have become."

"I've worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that by telling my story, the ups and downs, the mistakes, the lessons learned, I can help show that no matter where we come from , we all have more in common than we think."
