This tower was not designed to be steep
You know the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy as a tower, which is quite interesting because of its steepness.
This tower is the bell tower of the cathedral and one of the oldest buildings in Italy.
Perhaps during your visit to Italy, you have not passed by it without taking some photos, but have you ever thought of understanding the reason for its steepness?

This tower was originally built to be like any other tower, vertical and straight, but later it started to lean.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa was built on a weak foundation, on a non-solid ground, which has caused it to lean and be what it is, adding artistic value to itself.
This tower leans from the southwest and it is said that its weight is about 16 thousand tons.
The height of the tower is 55.86 m from the ground on the lowest side and 56.70 m on the highest side. The width of the wall at the base is 4.09 m and at the top 2.48 m. Its weight is estimated at 16,000 tons. The tower has 294 or 296 steps, the seventh floor has 2 steps slightly to the north.

Before the work on the restoration of the tower began, carried out between 1990 and 2001, the tower had a slope of 5.5 degrees, and after the completion of the work, it stands at a slope of 3.99 degrees.
This means that the top of the tower stands 3.9 m higher than where it should be if it were a vertically perfect tower.
