The famous singer and actress Jessica Simpson has shared with her followers a picture where she appears transformed after the battle with alcohol.

Simpson first posted a photo from 2021 of herself in her pajamas in a dark and cluttered house, saying it was a pivotal year in her battle to quit drinking.

Many of her fans have been shocked by the transformation, but at the same time have congratulated her on her determination to give up drinking.

“I knew that in this moment I would allow myself to reclaim my light, show the victory over my inner battle of self-respect and brave this world with sharp clarity.

Personally, to do this I had to stop drinking alcohol because it kept my mind and heart spinning in the same direction and I was honestly exhausted. I wanted to feel the pain so I could wear it as a badge of honor," wrote the famous singer.

She said she realized she had to give up alcohol in 2017, when she was so drunk she couldn't dress her children up for Halloween, adding that she now hopes the children will see a different mother.
