Photos of Britney Spears in bad shape, walking wrapped in a blanket and escorted by police outside a hotel in Los Angeles, are making the rounds on the Internet.

TMZ reports that the pop star had a heated argument with her partner, Paul Soliz, where the situation got out of control. On the evening of Wednesday May 1, Spears went to a hotel with Soliz.

A few hours later, a passerby called the police, claiming that a woman matching the description of the 42-year-old star was harassing and threatening hotel employees and customers.

Officers arrived shortly after 10.30pm but left after not seeing anything suspicious at the time. The pair entered a hotel room around 11pm, where they continued to party and drink.

While in the room, they started fighting, where the situation escalated into a fist fight. Spears was kicked in the leg by her partner.

Sources from TMZ say the singer "was screaming and out of control in the hallway of her suite and some guests thought she was having a mental breakdown, so they called an ambulance."

The images from the arrival of the ambulance at the hotel have also been published.

Doctors tried to talk to Britney, who was leaving the hotel with a pillow and blanket wrapped around her, but she refused their services. Crying, she did not enter the ambulance, but left alone without her partner.

In a post on Instagram she denied that she had a fight with her partner.

She posted a video of her swollen leg and said she sprained her ankle in a ballroom at the hotel where she was staying. The singer says that the quarrel with her partner is a lie and that she demands everyone's respect.
