INSTAT reported that tourist agencies have recorded record sales for the first three months of this year. But where do Albanians book more and which are the most favorite countries?

Migena Kamberi, Tourism Expert:

"It is said that this year will be a bomb year, let's call it, and the Albanians have preferred to reserve more in the coastal areas in several different countries. Turkey and Egypt took the lead, but we cannot leave behind Italy and Spain. We have started to have many bookings because it is understood that Turkey and Egypt is always at the top of the list."

Meanwhile, outside the summer season, according to expert Kamberi, Albanians are going beyond Europe.

"If we talk about the off-season, it is because the Albanians have started booking in Zanzibar, in Thailand, they have started to develop more the horizon to see and new cultures.

In INSTAT data, it is reported that hotel reservations have increased by 5.7%. According to the head of the Association of Tour Operators, these are normal figures in relation to the number of tourists.

Besnik Vathi, Chairman of the Association of Tour Operators:

"It is normal, we should not be surprised even if it was 15-20%, but this increase of around 5% is probably closer to reality.

But what is most requested by tourists in terms of stay?
