Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from actor Ben Affleck yesterday, 2 years after their marriage in Georgia, while rumors continue to swirl about their separation.

A source told People that unlike Jennifer's cautious approach, Ben Affleck wasn't too interested in repairing the marriage and trying to mend the relationship.

"She was very disappointed and sad. Ben gave no signs that he wanted to continue with their marriage. He showed no commitment and interest in making the marriage work. It got to the point where J.Lo just had to deal with herself," the source said.

J.Lo signed the divorce in Los Angeles Supreme Court, ending her marriage to the "Gone Girl" actor.

They got married in July and then had a second wedding in August 2022. Lopez and Affleck rekindled their relationship in 2021.

Lopez revealed in an interview with People in 2022 that they were both a little afraid to go public with their relationship, but took the plunge. "We are older, smarter, we have more experience, we are in different places in life, we have our children and we are aware of these things. We are very protective of each other, as it is a very beautiful period for both of us", said the singer at the time, but apparently, the beautiful period came to an end.
