The church that is selling plots of land for the afterlife goes viral: $100 per

A church in Mexico is helping people prepare for the afterlife by selling them plots of land in heaven.

According to Entoms' pastor, who claims to have received "God's permission," the church is offering heavenly real estate for $100 per square meter.

Photos of the offering have circulated on social media, showing a brochure with a detailed description of a cloud house.

The illustration shows a family climbing a golden staircase to their new heavenly home. The brochure also clarifies that the church accepts various payment options, including PayPal, Google Pay, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

It is thought that the church has so far made millions of dollars from these heavenly plots, in what is being called "the biggest real estate deal on the planet".

Unfortunately, this is not the first time someone has tried to sell real estate in paradise. In 2018, a Zimbabwean pastor was arrested after selling his congregation "tickets to heaven" for $533 per person. Similarly, last year, a Ugandan pastor convinced many of his followers to sell their assets, including land and livestock, to finance their purchases of Heaven.
