Actor Laert Vasili at St. Cosmas' Church in Elbasan

The famous actor Laert Vasili has chosen the Church of St. Kosmai in Tirana, to visit along with his relatives, where he was blessed by Father Nikola Xhufka.

In a private mass, Father Nikolla Xhufka blessed and decorated Vasili with the "Honor of the Albanian National Church"
"The office was made for the great contribution that Mr. Vasili has given to our church," the Church said.

This is in significant elections for actor Vasili, who like many other Albanian Orthodox, appears not to find themselves represented by the Albanian Autocephalous Church with Anastas Janullatosi headed.

It is worth noting that the Church of Janullatos denounced and distanced him from Father Nikola Xhufka, saying that he does not represent orthodox in the country. This has come after several statements by Father Nikola Xhufka with patriotic loads.
