Zelensky and JD Vance meet in Munich: We appreciate Trump's determination
Zelensky - Vance meeting in Munich

US Vice President JD Vance met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to a security conference being held in Munich, Germany.

Zelensky says the meeting with him was productive, addressing many important issues, while expressing his appreciation for US President Donald Trump's determination to stop the war with Russia.

Zelensky has previously said he will not accept any agreement between Russia and the US unless his country is included in peace discussions.

Zelensky's reaction after meeting with JD Vance:

I had a good meeting with US Vice President JD Vance. I am grateful to him and his entire team for the discussion, which also includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Keith Kellogg.

Our teams will continue to work on the document. We addressed many key issues and look forward to welcoming General Kellogg to Ukraine for further meetings and a deeper assessment of the situation on the ground.

We are ready to move as quickly as possible towards a real and guaranteed peace. We deeply appreciate the determination of President Trump, who can help stop the war and provide justice and security guarantees for Ukraine.
