Ukrainian secret services hit an underwater pylon in a well-prepared operation. Traffic on the Crimean bridge has been disrupted along its entire length, while Russian forces are on red alert.
Ukrainian intelligence services announced on Tuesday that they had struck the bridge connecting Russia to the Crimean region for the third time since the start of the war.
Three days after the attack on air bases located deep in Russian territory, where 41 bombers were destroyed, at a cost of $7 billion, the SBU used explosives equivalent to 1,100 kilograms of TNT to blow up one of the bridge legs.
The Ukrainians even released a video showing an underwater explosion in one of the bridge's main pillars. Naturally, traffic on the bridge has been suspended along its entire length, while Russian forces are on standby.

The Security Service of Ukraine announced that the operation had been prepared for months and caused "significant structural damage", leaving the only road connecting the region to Moscow in a "critical condition".
SBU head Vasyl Malyuk stated that the bridge "remains a legitimate military target due to its use by Russian forces for logistical support," adding that "Crimea is Ukraine" and warning that "any symbol or means of occupation will suffer the consequences."
