US President Donald Trump has announced a 90-day tariff pause effective immediately.

Trump has announced that the pause will affect all countries in the world except China, a country on which he increased tariffs even further to 125%.

"I have authorized a 90-day PAUSE and a significantly reduced reciprocal tariff during this period, of 10%, also effective immediately.

Trump also said he would increase tariffs on China to 125%, also effective immediately, citing "the lack of respect that China has shown to world markets," Trump announced.
