US President Donald Trump said there are several "ways out" of Operation Epic Wrath against Iran, during an interview with Axios.

In a five-minute phone call from Mar-a-Lago, Trump said there are different options for how the operation could proceed.

"I could go on for a long time and completely take control of the whole situation, or I could end it in two or three days and say to the Iranians: 'See you again in a few years if you start rebuilding [your nuclear and missile programs] ,'" he said.

Trump added that, in any case, it will take Iran several years to recover from this attack.
