This is the only Gulf country that has not been attacked by Iran
Smoke rises after attack on US military base in Bahrain

So far, the only Gulf state to have avoided Iranian missile strikes is Oman. The country, which had been hosting talks between the Iranians and the US, expressed its disappointment at the military action.

There are American military bases in Oman, as in most other countries in the region, but it seems to be the only country untouched by Iran's response.

"I am shocked. Active and serious negotiations have been undermined again. Neither the interests of the United States nor the cause of global peace are well served by this," Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi wrote on the X platform.

"And I pray for the innocents who will suffer. I urge the United States not to get involved further. This is not your war."
