Trump sends a STRONG message to Putin: Stop the war now or face severe
US President Donald Trump

US President Donald Trump has sent a direct and very strong message to Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Russian people, calling on him to immediately stop the war in Ukraine.

In a post on social media, Trump says that Russia should stop the war immediately, while its economy has not yet completely collapsed.

"I will do Russia, whose economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big favor. Act now and STOP this ridiculous war! Or it will get even worse," Trump wrote, among other things.

Trump's full message:

I am not looking to hurt Russia. I love the Russian people and have always had a very good relationship with President Putin - and this despite the "Russia hoax" of the radical left. We must never forget that Russia helped us win World War II, losing almost 60,000,000 lives in the process. All of this said, I am going to do Russia, whose economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big favor. Act now and stop this ridiculous war! OR IT WILL ONLY GET WORSE.

If we don't make a "deal," and soon, I have no choice but to impose high levels of taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on everything sold to them by Russia, the United States, and other participating countries. Let's end this war, which would never have started if I were President! We can do it the easy way, or the hard way - and the easy way is always better. It's time to "MAY A DEAL." NO MORE LIVES MUST BE LOST!!!
