A serious event was recorded in the early hours of this Monday morning in a province of Palermo in Italy. 

A 17-year-old girl killed her mother. Media across the Adriatic report that the victim is 55-year-old Teresa Spano, a primary school teacher, who was found dead in her apartment.

After questioning, her minor daughter admitted to the serious crime and confessed that she had strangled her mother.

The murder was the tragic epilogue to a fight that had started between mother and daughter at 3am between Sunday and Monday.

The 17-year-old initially told the police that her mother had committed suicide, but after questioning, she revealed herself to the prosecutors, admitting the serious crime.
