A serious event shocked Greece and the entire public opinion, after a mother and daughter were found walled up in one of the rooms of their home.

Local media write that the perpetrator of the murder of a mother and her 56-year-old daughter is both the old woman's son and the latter's brother.

In an attempt to hide the macabre murders, the boy told investigators that he was forced to kill both of them because he was afraid they would take his wealth.

While he claimed that his sister passed away after failing to win the battle with cancer.

However, investigations revealed that her body had been walled up for three months in one of the rooms of their house, and next to her on the wall was found the lifeless body of the mother, who is said to have been killed two days after her daughter's death.

The serious case was discovered immediately after reports were made by neighbors who reported the disappearance of the two women.

The police immediately began searching the area and despite the boy's attempts to " confuse " them during the investigation, they found the two victims walled up in their home.

As soon as the police raided the family's home, their suspicions grew after one of the doors was covered in putty. As a result, the police extended their search to the room until they discovered the two bodies walled in./ Protothema
