The personal stories of the 59 people who lost their lives as a result of a fire in a nightclub in Kocani, North Macedonia, are harrowing.
One of the most shocking stories to come to light after the tragedy is that of Tose Bogdanov.
The 30-year-old had gone out on Sunday evening to celebrate the birth of his son.
His and his family's joy over the arrival of a new child turned into an unspeakable tragedy.
Tose worked in a car repair shop and lived with his wife.
She had given birth to their son the night before the tragedy, and Tose had gone out to celebrate this happy moment with his friends.
After the tragic event, his family and everyone who knew him are shocked by the loss of a loved one.
Local media have published the testimony of a person close to the Bogdanov family, who said that
"Tose had a baby boy and went out to celebrate the birth of the child with friends. He wanted to hire his friends and went to a disco, but now he's gone forever."
This tragic fire has left many others injured, while investigations are continuing to uncover the causes and punish those responsible for this disaster.
Interior Minister Pance Toshkovski has confirmed that the fire broke out as a result of the use of pyrotechnics during the concert of the band DNK, while authorities have issued arrest warrants for several suspected individuals, including the club owner.
