'She raised 2 children alone'/ The sad story of the vocalist of the

Piano professor at the Faculty of Musical Arts, Sara Projkovska, who was a vocalist in the band "DNK", is one of the victims who lost her life in the fire in Kočani. Projkovska was a mother of two children, whom she was raising alone.

Throughout her career, she sang as a "backing vocalist" for almost all pop singers in Macedonia.

She was struggling to earn money to raise her children because her ex-husband, trumpeter and jazz professor Aleksandar Nikolovski, passed away in 2021 at the age of 48.

Her colleagues were also injured in the fire. Ana Kostadinovska was also part of the group 'DNK', who were performing at the discotheque where the fire broke out. She is in stable condition and is being treated at home, according to her family. Andrej Gorgieski is in hospital.
