Horror in Germany/ 40-year-old man kills his mother and then takes several

An armed man (40 years old) first killed his mother (70 years old) in an apartment in the Prohlis neighborhood on Saturday morning.

Then the suspected murderer entered "Radio Dresden" in Ammonhof after the crime in the morning. He tried to enter the interior by breaking the door but could not succeed.

Immediately after that, he left to hide in a pharmacy, where he took a woman and a child hostage. After the intervention of the police, the author was injured, while his hostages were not harmed.

Police are asking Dresden residents and tourists to avoid the city center as it has been locked down.

A trader told BILD: "We were asked by notice to keep our shops closed due to a police situation."
