While the US was talking about peace, Russia launched one of its biggest attacks

Ukraine's air force said Russia launched 270 drones and 10 missiles overnight, in one of its largest attacks this month.

According to foreign media, explosions were heard in the city of Kremenchuk, while cities closer to the front line are also under threat of attacks.

This happened just hours after Volodymyr Zelenskyy concluded talks at the White House with European leaders and Donald Trump.

The air force added that it shot down 230 drones and six missiles, with strikes recorded at 16 locations.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister said there was damage to the country's energy infrastructure.

Russia's defense ministry confirmed that it carried out an attack on an oil refinery, claiming that it supplies fuel to groups of Ukrainian armed forces.
