Surprises Biden, puts Trump's campaign hat on public appearance

During a visit to Shanksville, Pennsylvania, President Joe Biden was spotted donning a red Trump campaign hat this presidential election.

The event happened just one day after a presidential debate between former President Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.

Many of those inside reportedly wore MAGA hats and other Trump apparel.

"At the Shanksville fire station, President Joe Biden spoke about the country's bipartisan unity after 9/11 and said we needed to get back to that," White House spokesman Andrew Bates tweeted to X.

As a gesture , he was given a hat by a Trump supporter, who then said the president should wear a Trump hat. He wore it for a short time ," Bates added.

It was a move the White House said was simply to show 'bipartisan unity'.
