The second round of Russia-Ukraine diplomatic talks has not been canceled, but has been postponed, Russian media reported, citing a source close to the negotiations.
According to TASS, the new round of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations will take place in Belovezhskaya Pushcha, Belarus. However, recent media reports have stated that Russia is "ready" to start talks with Ukraine on Wednesday evening.
TASS reported citing the source as saying, “Not a cancellation; the schedule shifted; official information will come soon ", reports Republicworld.
The first negotiation session took place in the Gomel region of Belarus on 28 February. The parties found several points where similar positions could be drafted and agreed to continue the discussion process, according to the head of the Russian delegation Vladimir Medinsky.
But to have real talks on a ceasefire, according to Ukrainian President Volodymiy Zelensky, Russia must stop the bombing.
