Remzi Toçilla from Kosovo has shown that he had a bad experience at the private hospital "Acibadem Sistina" in Skopje.
Remzi Toçilla from Ferizaj said that the doctors in this hospital had operated on the knee of his right leg, instead of the left, even though in the end it turned out according to him that there was no need to perform an operation for any of them.
"After the operation, after the anesthesia wore off, I saw that it was not the left leg, but the right. I told the doctors what happened, the doctor told me: I operated, because I noticed that you tried to protect your left leg, and you hurt your right, and I decided to operate. I asked him how it could happen without any analysis, he told me that's how I decided and after three weeks he will do the left one as well", Toçilla tells PortalX.
"All the family members were surprised", he adds.
Even, according to him, the hospital had an "offer" for him to operate on his left leg for free.
"I consulted another doctor, and he told me thank goodness they didn't do the left leg as well. Rather, they tried to do something but did nothing. I had proposed not to do any other intervention", says Toçilla.
"I paid 1700 euros for that operation", continues the citizen from Ferizaj who was operated on in this hospital.
On the other hand, from the Sistina private hospital they said the case is in court proceedings, and they cannot speak.
