German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, in a press conference on Friday in Brussels, spoke about yesterday's meetings with Kosovo and Serbia, saying that the situation was "painful".

However, Scholz added that Kurti and Vucic said that the agreements will be implemented.

"In this really sad situation we were able to move forward. I do not share your assessment. But I think that if we make a political assessment, I believe that my assessment that Mr. Kurti and Mr. Vucic said that concrete proposals from the Ohrid Agreement and the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian Majority will be implemented.

They said this clearly. This is an important step and we want to see it happen", said Schoz.
