Russian army forces attempted a surprise offensive about 6 days ago, while the whole world was watching the conflict in Israel.
As foreign media reports, hundreds of tanks, armored vehicles and other heavy vehicles loaded with soldiers, attacked in two directions to surround the Ukrainian town of Avdiivka.
The outcome was fatal for the Russians. Finding themselves in open terrain, without the protection of terrain, the Ukrainians unleashed a barrage of mortars, artillery shells, and drone attacks, inflicting significant damage on the Russians.
According to Ukraine, around 2,000 Russian soldiers were killed and nearly 200 combat vehicles were destroyed, including T 70, T 80 and T90 tanks.
While these figures may not be entirely accurate, the damage to the Russian military cannot be denied, as much of it was filmed by Ukrainian drones.
