A helicopter belonging to Saudi oil giant Aramco crashed on Sunday, June 28, in the Ras Tanura area on the east coast of Saudi Arabia, west of the Strait of Hormuz. The accident killed 14 Saudi citizens.
The news was announced by the state news agency, which announced that the causes of the crash are still unknown.
According to authorities, investigations have been launched with the participation of relevant institutions to clarify the circumstances that led to the helicopter crash.
Just two days ago, Aramco had resumed loading crude oil at its Ras Tanura terminal, after activity had been suspended for nearly 4 months.
Saudi Arabia, the world's largest oil exporter, is among the countries that have accelerated cargo shipments as Middle Eastern producers increased production and exports of oil and gas ahead of the interim deal that halted the war between the United States and Iran.
