At least 20 cases have been identified so far by the police of the terrible knockout "game" in New York.
Criminals hit innocent people for fun, for no reason, on the streets or malls of crime-ridden New York.
The worst case was when a man in the Bronx was near death when he was punched and passed out outside a restaurant. The police have confirmed other cases, which were also captured by security cameras. A similar case occurred in Brooklyn, where a 36-year-old man was filmed being hit by the aggressor, and a 74-year-old woman ended up on the sidewalk earlier this month.
"The knockout game is back. The attack on New Yorkers is real. We must be attentive. It is not only the mentally ill who are carrying out these attacks, but there are also angry individuals, brazen criminals," said Michael Alcazar, a retired officer.
He calls for stricter laws for such barbaric acts.
