The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, in a televised appearance has challenged all the positions held so far by the Western allies on the missile that fell in Poland.

Zelensky has categorically denied that the missile that fell in Poland last night is Ukrainian, saying he is sure it is Russian.

Zelensky asked not to point the finger at his country for the missile incident, but to wait for the end of the investigations.

"I have no reason to doubt. The Air Force Commander submitted a report on this to me personally, as well as to Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhnyi. I have no doubt that it was not our missile, nor was it an attack by us. I have no reason to doubt the commander's report. We fought the war together. My position is simple. Please allow us to visit the scene. That would be something fair. I believe it is our right to be there. Until this investigation is concluded, please refrain from final conclusions. This is something fair. We should be part of joint investigation teams, right? Especially if it comes to blaming us.”

"Ukraine can become part of the investigation into the incident with the missile, only with the permission of Poland and the United States of America", declared the Polish President, Andrej Duda, responding to Kiev's call for urgent access to the process for the complete disclosure of what happened in the border village between the two countries. Even the Secretary of the National Security Council in Ukraine declared that "only Russia and its missile terror are to blame for what happened".

"We are ready to hand over the evidence we have to support the Russian track," said Oleksi Danilov.
