Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has praised the US for its response to a missile explosion in Poland on Tuesday.
During a press conference, Peskov accused Poland and "a whole line of other countries" of reacting "hysterically" to the incident by accusing Russia of being responsible without any evidence.
Peskov praised the US response to the incident after President Joe Biden said the missiles were most likely not launched by the Russians.
"It is worth mentioning the restrained and much more professional reaction of the American side and the American president," said Peskov.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said the latest bombings in Ukraine were carried out only on targets inside the country and were at least 35 kilometers from the Polish border.
Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that "the fall of alleged Russian missiles" in the Polish village of Przewodow "are a deliberate provocation aimed at escalating the situation."
