2-year-old child dies in Spain after being locked in car for four hours!

A tragic event has occurred in the city of Valls, Catalonia, Spain.

A child about two and a half years old has died after being locked in a car for about four hours.

He died due to the scorching temperatures.

According to reports from the Efe agency, authorities are investigating the possibility that the child was accidentally forgotten by his father, who had gone to work, leaving the car near the company where he worked.

A passerby noticed the child in the car and informed the father, who ran to save his son by pulling him out of the car and attempting to take him to a cooler area.

Emergency services determined it was too late to intervene after the child had died. The child's father experienced a new state of shock after hearing the sad news.

Catalan police have launched investigations to fully clarify the incident, while an autopsy will officially determine the cause of death, with the main hypothesis related to fatal heatstroke.
