US President Donald Trump has said that deporting people born in the US could be "the next step".
Trump reviewed a list of violent crimes and said some criminals "are not new to our country, they are old to our country."
"A lot of them were born in our country. I think we should get them out of here right away. That's going to be the next thing we're going to work on together," Trump said.
It's not the first time Trump has raised this idea, and it's worth noting that his administration is also trying to end automatic birthright citizenship.
