Thousands of French protested last night against the pension reform. Meanwhile, a video shows a group of people with pots and eggs attacking Macron during his visit to southern France
Before Macron headed to the southern French city of Ganges, police pushed back protesters carrying pots and pans, giving the French president a rough reception. According to French reports, in some cases, police confiscated cooking utensils.
"Eggs and pans, I use them in cooking," Macron said as he began his visit where some protesters threw eggs and potatoes at the French president. A video was posted on Twitter with the French president being hit in the face with eggs while making statements.
Last night thousands of French people protested again against the proposed pension reform, which will raise the retirement age to 64 from 62. Dozens of protesters stormed the Bolsa de Paris building in protest and at the same time, protesters attacked Euronext, the Stock Exchange of Paris, showing their anger.
Buena puntería, en toda la cara de Macron.
