The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, delivered her speech today at the UN Security Council.
In front of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, she mentioned the testing of Iranian drones by Serbia, declaring that "this is the message" that Serbia sends to neighboring countries.
Osmani has said that the rights of Serbs are protected and advanced in Kosovo, unlike what Vucic claims, and invited the latter to accept Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe, as it would also be in favor of the Kosovo Serbs.
"Serbia's claims of ethnic cleansing are false and politically motivated. The legal structure of Kosovo protects and advances the rights of Serbs. The opposite is true. About 500,000 Serbs left Serbia during Vučić's rule, says EUROSTAT.
Serbia assembled an unprecedented military presence near our border in late September. Days ago they tested Iranian drones on the border. This is the message they give to their neighbors...", said Osmani.
