Some members of the US military have expressed deep disappointment with military operations against Iran, stating that they do not want to be part of a conflict they see as political.

According to a report by the Huffington Post, some military personnel, who spoke on condition of anonymity, are even considering leaving the military due to dissatisfaction with recent developments.

A military official treating evacuated soldiers at a medical center in Germany has stressed that troops are facing a lack of protection and inadequate planning, while significant losses from Iranian missile and drone attacks have also been reported.

According to him, a ground operation in Iran would be "an absolute disaster," adding that there is currently no clear plan for such an intervention and that US forces are unable to fully defend even a single base in the region.

Meanwhile, a reservist who advises young officers has indicated that many military personnel are openly expressing their opposition, emphasizing that they do not want to "die for Israel" or be used as "political tools."

Many consider a February 28 airstrike on a school in the Iranian city of Minab, which killed at least 175 people, including dozens of schoolgirls, as a turning point.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has warned of the possibility of a ground operation in Iran, while NATO allies have refused to support efforts to unblock the Strait of Hormuz, adding to tensions within the alliance.
