Bad weather covers the north of Italy!

Part of the city of Milan is under water due to a wave of bad weather with heavy rain that has engulfed the whole of northern Italy in the last few hours.

The floods were mainly caused by the overflowing of streams and rivers mainly in the southern neighborhoods of the city, where in some cases the intervention of emergency teams was needed to come to the aid of trapped residents.

The water level that exceeded 30 centimeters blocked not only roads, but also several metro stations. In some areas there were problems with electricity supply and damage to road infrastructure

There were also problems in other cities of the Lombardy region. In Brescia, authorities evacuated over 200 residents from the city's outskirts.

The flood wave has also affected the Venice region and has descended towards the central areas of Emilia Romagna.
